VigiLink is the chassis affiliate networks should have built and never will. We are creator-side. We watch the plumbing. We surface what the networks would rather you not see, and we package it as evidence when the time comes to recover what you earned.
Affiliate commission is the long tail of the creator economy. For most mid-tail creators, brand deals are the headline number and affiliate is the rent. When the rent goes missing, nobody tells you. The networks have no incentive to tell you. Spreadsheets are not enough.
VigiLink’s mission is to give the creator side the same quality of attribution evidence the networks already have on their side. Real browser scans. First-party cookies. Independent click records. Dispute letters with HTTP traces attached. The chassis you would build if you had a year and a team and the networks would not build it for you.

Two industry events made it impossible to keep waiting. In early 2026, Amazon Associates ran an extended reporting blackout that left a wide population of creators without basic visibility into their own commissions. There was no recourse, no creator-side record, and no chassis to fall back on.
Earlier, in late 2024, the Honey browser extension was caught silently overwriting affiliate attribution at the moment of purchase. The lesson was the same: the networks, the redirectors, and the browser extensions are operating on a layer creators cannot see, and a creator-side record is the only thing that changes the dynamic.
The third trend, slower-moving but more structural, is iOS Safari Intelligent Tracking Prevention. Roughly a third of US mobile traffic runs on Safari. ITP caps your affiliate cookies well inside the network attribution window. The leak has been quiet, persistent, and large enough to fund a chassis.
