Link Wrapping

iOS Safari quietly caps your affiliate cookies before the conversion window closes. Link Wrapping fixes that at the source. Publish a VigiLink URL instead of a raw network short link, and every click sets a first-party cookie on your behalf. It survives the browser's tracking limits because it lives on a domain the visitor just chose to visit, not a third-party redirect server.

What it does

Sets a first-party cookie that persists for 30 days, long enough to survive iOS Safari's tracking limits and cover most affiliate conversion windows. The distinction matters: when a visitor clicks your VigiLink URL, their browser navigates directly to our domain first. That makes the cookie we set first-party from Safari's perspective, and first-party cookies are not subject to the tracking limits that shorten cookies set through cross-site redirects.
Records every click independently, giving you a receipt that exists outside the network's dashboard. If the network later drops attribution, your wrapped click log is the evidence that the visit happened.
Checks the destination at click-time and routes around broken or tag-stripped links before the visitor ever reaches the merchant page, so a dead link in your bio does not cost you both the commission and the conversion.
Adds no perceptible delay for the visitor. The edge worker completes its check and forwards the click fast enough that your mobile conversion rate stays intact.

How it works

Wrap your links
Upload a CSV or wrap directly from the Vault. We return VigiLink URLs you publish in place of raw network short links. No changes to your existing content strategy are required beyond swapping the URL.

Visitors click as normal
Each click hits our edge worker first. The worker sets a first-party cookie on the VigiLink domain, then forwards the visitor to the network with your affiliate tag preserved. From the visitor's perspective, nothing changes.

You own the click data
Even if the network drops attribution, the wrapped click is recorded in your account. That record is ready to attach to a dispute as independent evidence that the click originated from your content.
